Royal baby will be born in same London hospital as Prince William - private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Paddington & he will be at the birth.

The birth of William & Kate’s baby will also be announced on news wires, the Palace website and even on TWITTER!

Royal doctors Marcus Setchell & Alan Farthing - whose late fiancé Jill Dando was famously murdered - will deliver William & Kate’s baby.

Informed sources say despite intense speculation William and Kate still do not know their unborn child’s sex and have not asked to know.

A royal aide will take a royal birth bulletin to waiting car outside the hospital. It will be displayed on an easel at Buckingham Palace.

Sources say the palace will only announce the birth of the William@@ Kate’s baby once the Queen has been told.

Palace recognises royal birth is a time of national celebration but has asked for the media to respect William & Kate’s privacy.

Kate will be off royal duties on maternity leave. No engagements have been scheduled until further notice.

Prince William, currently a Search and Rescue Pilot with the RAF plans to take two weeks paternity leave.

To maintain the ‘theatre and tradition’ of the royal birth of a future monarch the announcement will be made in the old fashioned way.

Royal Baby: Will and Kate reveal final details ahead of mid-July birth

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed the final details surrounding the birth of their first child.

In an official press briefing which took place at Clarence House last Thursday the couple’s wishes were explained and plans for the birth were confirmed.

The parents-to-be still do not know the sex of their baby. At the briefing it was explained the couple did not wish to know the sex of the baby and did not seek to find out during Kate’s pregnancy.

After much speculation, it was also confirmed Kate will give birth at Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, where both Prince William and Prince Harry were born.

It was also confirmed that Doctor Marcus Setchell, 69, a former gynecologist to the Queen, will supervise the Duchess’ birth. This follows on from Sophie, Countess of Wessex’s two children, Lady Louise and Viscount James, in which Doctor Marcus was present at the births.

After the birth, Prince William will take two weeks paternity leave from his RAF job as he supports the Duchess, as they both settle into parenthood.

The official details come just days after Kate took part in her final engagement. The glowing mum-to-be joined the Queen and Royal Family for the annual Trooping the Colour in London, which celebrates the Queen’s official birthday.

I’m getting really excited now! I think it’s finally starting to hit me…

it's me - i win, you lose.: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's Due Date Guesses! (2013)

middletons:

Have fun, ladies! (Do we have any male members of the royal fandom? If so, hi!) If you want to add yourself to a date, please send me a message or reply/reblog this post along with the information! Thank you so much! Also, anyone can do this — you do not have to be apart of the royal fandom to…

I think Kate is due sooner than we’re being told..

So, I was thinking maybe we could have this thing where people put down dates (I’d make a post) and whomever gets closet to the date gets to win something? Maybe a gif set, a spam, a url (for instance, I have -katemiddleton saved & I’d be willing to give that away!), etc. You might think this is lame, but I figured that maybe this will make the royal fandom more happier! Maybe? Hopefully. And these things can be fun!

Great idea! I’ll take July 10th, please.
