Random Fandom Chats will be held randomly with little notice. Whenever you see this post pop up on your dash, check the date and time posted at the bottom and message R4R for the chat location. Times and locations will be different every time. For privacy reasons, R4R should be the only one disclosing the location.
Chats are an exciting way to meet and socialize with the fandom. Video and audio options are available for those who wish to use them. Others may interact in the traditional chat room way by typing. As a courtesy, please identify yourself promptly upon entering the chat. Anyone that doesn’t do so, may be accidentally kicked out of the chat. Please have your speakers or earphones ready, as some may be using the audio feature.
It should be noted that the right is reserved to ban bullies or instigators. These chats are meant to be a fun, lighthearted way to bond over royals and anything else, so please be on your best behavior.
Next chat: April 16th at 8pm (ET)

Excerpts from an article on Grace I found rather interesting
The article is from a September 1955 Motion Picture magazine and focuses on her time at the Cannes Film Festival, particularly her frequent escort, Jean-Pierre Aumont.
New photographers from all over the world were pounding at the gates of the Prince of Monaco’s palace to get pictures of Grace Kelly during her visit there. But the only photos taken were by Jean-Pierre Aumont for his personal scrapbook. […] One day, thinking they had outwitted reporters, the two drove leisurely along the French Riviera to visit Prince Rainier, ruler of the small principality of Monaco. But waiting for them at the palace gate were the tireless newsmen. The Prince would have none of it, however, and the photographers were frustrated as he led Grace and Jean-Pierre through the gate and into the gardens where they couldn’t be seen.
^ Did Jean-Pierre really accompany Grace on “the visit” to the Palace? Or is this just a case of mistaken (or worse… fabricated) details?
When pinned down, Grace finally did admit that Jean-Pierre had asked her marry him, but that she had not given her answer. That was as far as she would go in an official statement. As for Jean-Pierre, he proclaimed for all the world to hear, “I adore Grace. Any man would be proud to marry her. She is a wonderful woman!” … Pinned down as to whether or not he had proposed, Aumont denied it, stating, “I have not proposed marriage. I like her very much, but things are moving too fast. We are being pushed by all this publicity.”
^ Pushed by publicity, indeed! The article seems to touch on that theory quite a bit as well. Does anyone have an idea of the reputability of Motion Picture? It seems to have some identity crises going on in this article. ;)
Grace explained her theory about marriage honestly and with rare candor. “I’m not a starlet who needs the orange blossom route to get her name in the paper. I consider marriage a serious business. When a ring is put on my finger it will be there for always.” Being a fervent Catholic, Grace must be terribly certain. She confesses to a dream of a large house and many children, of a man whom she could love and on whom she could depend. For him she would give up her career to assure the success of a marriage she considers more important.
^ That last part is very foretelling! A prophecy that ended up coming true…
Grace Kelly's first engagement ring from Prince Rainier when they first became engaged in Philadelphia. It was a circlet of diamonds and rubies echoing the national colors of Monaco.

I love the effort Juani puts in all of this. If you don’t think he’s the best, you’re so, so wrong.
